Historic Italianate - Renovation

This century home in Chagrin Falls had witnessed a variety of uses throughout its esteemed and not so esteemed history. It had served as a rooming house as well as a two family structure with separate residences on the first and second floor. We worked to preserve its historic Italianate exterior details but found so many structural defects that we essentially removed much of the first and second floor decks, along with interior walls, and rebuilt a structurally sounds platform to capture the original essence of the home.
